CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer III to join our Asset Management Team in Carlow, Ireland or remotely in Ireland, supporting manufacturing and advanced technology facilities where precision, compliance, and uptime matter. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high‑impact asset initiatives—supporting reliability programs, maintenance system optimization, and data accuracy efforts that strengthen facility performance across the asset lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Independently complete technical analysis, documentation, and system support activities related to asset data, equipment hierarchy, and maintenance strategy development
  • Develop asset documentation, data models, reports, and system inputs under the guidance of senior staff or technical leadership
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies, documentation gaps, or system issues using standard procedures and best practices to support asset reliability and compliance
  • Monitor assigned project tasks and milestones, addressing asset data or system issues that could impact maintenance planning or operational efficiency
  • Take responsibility for significant portions of asset management initiatives with oversight from senior staff or management, including field ‑ based assessments, data validation, and system updates

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience required
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Strong working and theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in practical settings
  • Understanding of QA/QC procedures and regulatory standards
  • Proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred
