Role Description: The Junior Sales Designer role is a full-time, on-site position requiring flexibility to work across multiple Locations. The company's headquarters are in Dundalk, Co. Louth, with additional showrooms in Sandyford, Dublin & Hillsborough. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable travelling between locations as required and will need a full driving licence. In this role, the individual will assist senior sales members with creating custom room concepts, including kitchens, lounges, bedrooms, and bathrooms, and help translate client needs into practical and visually appealing designs. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with potential clients in the showroom or on-site, supporting the sales process by preparing design proposals and quotations, and providing clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. The Junior Sales Designer will collaborate with the design and installation teams, maintain accurate project documentation, and ensure a high level of customer service. This position offers the opportunity to grow design and sales skills within a luxury, bespoke interiors environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with clients, understand their needs, and manage expectations professionally.
- Foundational Interior Design and Kitchen & Bath Design skills, with the ability to interpret floor plans, materials, and finishes into cohesive concepts.
- Sales abilities, including consultative selling, follow-up, and basic negotiation, with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency with basic design tools or software (e.g., CAD or similar), and comfort with using digital tools for presentations and documentation.
- Interest or experience in residential interiors, cabinetry, or bespoke furniture is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site, including occasional client visits and showroom support.
- Relevant education in interior design, architecture, sales, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
