Head of Finance

Reporting to the CEO, this role has full accountability for accurate financial reporting, strong governance, and timely delivery of key finance processes. The position includes leadership of a team of finance professionals and close engagement with senior stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

• Own and deliver the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all accounting activities
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports and insights to senior leadership
• Produce financial statements to support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies
• Lead year-end close activities and manage external audit engagement
• Oversee payroll operations and act as the main contact for payroll and finance-related HR matters
• Coordinate statutory and indirect tax reporting in collaboration with Group teams
• Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, processes, and reporting

• Manage, develop, and motivate a high-performing finance team
• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Experience & Skills

Essential

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Qualified accountant with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience
• Advanced Excel skills and strong technical accounting knowledge
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment

Desirable

• Experience with SAP, Cognos, or similar enterprise systems
• Exposure to indirect tax compliance and payroll processes

Location

North Dublin, with a minimum of three days per week on-site.
