Assistant Store Manager

Location: Limerick Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: €38,000 - €40,000 + bonus

A well-established retailer is seeking an experienced assistant store manager to support the day-to-day running of a busy store in Limerick. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated retail professional with strong people management and sales experience to step into a leadership role within a high-volume retail environment. Full training will be provided.

The Role

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while driving sales performance and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the Store Manager in the overall management of the store and daily operations * Lead, coach, and motivate the retail team to deliver strong sales performance and excellent customer service * Drive a positive and high-performing team culture within a busy retail environment * Assist with staff scheduling, performance management, and team development * Monitor sales targets and work with the team to achieve and exceed store goals * Ensure excellent standards of customer service and engagement at all times * Support stock control, merchandising standards, and operational procedures * Assist with recruitment, on boarding, and training of new team members * Maintain high store presentation and operational standards

About You

* 3-5 year's retail or sales management experience, ideally in a high-volume retail environment * Previous experience as a Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager * Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team * Proven track record in driving sales and delivering excellent customer service * A confident leader who leads by example on the shop floor * Strong organisational and communication skills * Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment * A hands-on approach with a strong focus on teamwork and results * Full eligibility to work in Ireland on a permanent, full-time basis
