This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys solving complex operational problems, and can translate data into actionable insights.
As a Business Analyst, you will contribute to analytical workstreams that drive measurable improvements in business performance. You will manage large data sets, support business case development, and produce clear, persuasive insights that guide decision‑making. Within the FinOps team, you will also take ownership of case management and service operations, acting as the primary link between vendor partners and internal sales stakeholders.
This role combines analytical depth with operational execution, offering exposure to cross‑functional teams, vendor management, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct strategic and data‑driven analysis to identify opportunities that optimize business performance.
• Architect metrics, synthesize information, and support problem‑solving across business functions. • Support or lead components of projects involving internal and external integrations between business objectives and operational systems.
• Provide analytical support for ad‑hoc data requests from business leaders.
• Evaluate new market, product, or cross‑team opportunities to support broader business initiatives.
• Independently manage FinOps case queues, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of complex operational issues.
• Host office‑hour consultations with internal stakeholders and close service gaps by designing workflows, resources, and processes.
• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement efforts across vendor and operational workflows.
Minimum Qualifications
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, data analysis, and data synthesis.
• Strong consultative and storytelling skills with the ability to translate insights into business recommendations.
• Experience in project management and business operations.
• Technical acumen, including familiarity with experimental design, dashboarding, and data presentation.
• Domain‑specific knowledge relevant to business operations, finance, or technology.
• Proven experience in case management environments supporting deal making, contracting, or billing systems.
• Demonstrated vendor management experience, including workflow design and service creation.
• SQL and data visualization skills (or the ability to learn quickly).
• Experience with ERP/Billing systems such as Salesforce.
• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations while balancing deep analytical work with front‑line operational support.
