About the role
NxtGen Facades manufactures glazing and sheet metal facade systems for building projects delivered with Eirefacades. We're looking for a Planning Manager to lead all production planning (scheduling, capacity, materials and transport) across the full production cycle.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain the factory master production programme in line with project demand and call-offs
- Issue weekly and daily production schedules, and lead the weekly planning meeting and 2–3 week look-ahead
- Manage capacity across machines, shifts and people, and reallocate resources when there are delays or demand changes
- Track supplier deliveries and coordinate material availability with Purchasing and Stock Control
- Own transport planning and outbound dispatch scheduling
- Keep ERP production data accurate and support daily production and labour reporting
- Track planning KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience in production planning, ideally in manufacturing
- Strong scheduling and capacity management skills
- Experience with ERP systems (Business Central or equivalent)
- Understanding of supply chain, procurement and logistics
- Strong Excel skills and a data-driven, organised approach
- A clear communicator who can manage competing priorities
- Facades, glazing or sheet metal experience is highly desirable
