Embedded Software Engineer – SoC / Linux Kernel / Device Drivers

We are currently partnered with a leading semiconductor organisation developing next-generation System-on-Chip (SoC) platforms across compute, mobile, automotive, and emerging technology domains. As part of a globally distributed engineering team, they are looking to hire an Embedded Software Engineer to support the development of low-level drivers and core platform functionality.

**This role is full time on-site in Cork**

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded Linux device drivers across a range of SoC platforms
• Contribute to the development and prototyping of new platform features across multiple hardware and software domains
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions across diverse product lines

Key requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Strong experience with embedded systems and Linux kernel development
• Proficiency in C programming and data structures, ideally within kernel or low-level environments
• Solid understanding of SoC architecture and device driver development
