As our Night Operations Manager, you'll oversee the complete overnight depot operation, ensuring every parcel is sorted, dispatched, and ready for the next stage of its journey. You'll lead a high-performing team, drive operational excellence, and keep our network moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end overnight depot operation, including inbound, sortation, dispatch, and operational handover.
• Lead, coach, and develop Team Leaders and operational teams to achieve outstanding results.
• Monitor and deliver key productivity, service, and cost performance targets.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety, security, and operational standards.
• Support satellite depots and work closely with transport and network teams to maintain service excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.

Interested? Here's what you'll need to be successful

• Experience managing fast-paced logistics, parcel, warehouse, or depot operations.
• Proven leadership experience managing frontline teams in a shift-based environment.
• Strong understanding of depot operations, including sortation, dispatch, and courier management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Full clean driving licence and GCSE-level education (or equivalent industry experience)
