Salary: Up to €38k + Uncapped Commission (OTE up to €50,000)

Our client is one of Ireland’s leading retail brands, renowned for delivering high-quality products across home, interiors, technology, and lifestyle categories. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an ambitious and driven Assistant Store Manager to join their Limerick team.

The Role

As Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the department, helping to lead, motivate, and develop the team while ensuring an exceptional customer experience at all times.

This role would suit someone commercially minded, target driven, and passionate about leadership and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with the daily operations of the department
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing retail team
• Drive sales performance and customer satisfaction
• Coach team members to achieve targets and deliver excellent service
• Ensure high merchandising and presentation standards are maintained
• Assist with rostering, stock management, and operational duties
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally
• Deputise for the Store Manager when required

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail leadership or supervisory roles
• Strong sales and customer service background
• Passion for coaching and developing teams
• Highly organised with strong communication skills
• Commercially aware and target focused
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Experience within furniture, interiors, appliances, or technology retail would be an advantage but is not essential
