The organization's mission is to inspire more kids to move, smile, and connect through play as it prepares for global expansion.
Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Footy Nippers Coach based in Dublin. As a Footy Nippers Coach, you will be responsible for leading engaging sessions using rugby as a tool for physical and social education for young children. You will plan and deliver activities that promote teamwork, confidence, and coordination. Other responsibilities include managing equipment, ensuring a safe environment, and building strong relationships with parents, caregivers, and the wider community. You will also have the opportunity to grow and contribute to a meaningful mission while working within a supportive team environment.
Qualifications
- Sports Coaching, Early Childhood Education, and leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with young children and their families
- Proficiency in teamwork, communication, and building community relationships
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to lead safe, well-prepared, and enjoyable sessions
- A positive attitude, a passion for working with children, and a commitment to inclusivity and cultural values
- Prior experience in coaching sports or working with children is a plus
- First aid certification and understanding of child safety guidelines are advantageous
- Ability to work on-site during weekdays and weekends, as required
