Senior Project Manager – M&A and Business ChangeJob Description:

Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead merger and acquisition (M&A) integration and business change initiatives. This is a contract role based in Dublin City Centre. Hybrid model and 6-12 months minimum.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex M&A and business change projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver integration and transformation objectives.
• Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Monitor progress and performance, and report on project status to executive leadership.
• Facilitate workshops and project meetings to drive progress and resolve issues.
• Manage budgets, change requests, and ensure projects adhere to governance standards.
• Ensure all documentation and reporting complies with internal and regulatory requirements.

Experience Required

• Minimum 8 years of experience managing large-scale projects, with a strong focus on company reorg/ mergers and organisational change.
• Proven track record of delivering business-critical programmes within financial services or a similarly regulated environment.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and complex stakeholder landscapes.

Desirable Skills

• Strong knowledge of post-merger integration practices and business change methodologies.
• Familiarity with asset management or wider financial services operations.
• Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Experience with tools such as MS Project, JIRA, and Confluence.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
• Additional qualifications in Project or Programme Management are highly beneficial.
