Job Description

Posted on: August 5, 2026

Your new company Join one of Ireland's leading construction organisations, renowned for delivering some of the country's most high-profile and technically complex projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, life sciences, data centre, and infrastructure sectors. With a long-standing reputation for excellence, innovation, and sustainability, this company has played a key role in shaping Ireland's built environment for generations.

As an employee, you will become part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team that invests heavily in its people, offering genuine opportunities for career progression, professional development, and exposure to landmark projects. With a strong pipeline of work across Dublin and the wider Leinster region, this is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading contractor that is committed to delivering best-in-class projects while fostering a positive and supportive working environment.

Your new role As Tender Bid Manager, you will lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of high-value infrastructure and construction tenders. Working closely with estimating, engineering, commercial, and operational teams, you will develop winning bid strategies and ensure all submissions are compliant, commercially sound, and delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full tender process from receipt through to final submission.
  • Develop bid strategies, methodologies, and project delivery solutions.
  • Review tender documentation, client requirements, and clarification requests.
  • Coordinate inputs from estimating, engineering, planning, HSEQ, and commercial teams.
  • Manage tender programmes, deliverables, and submission deadlines.
  • Oversee bid writing and technical content to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Coordinate tender reviews, governance approvals, and sign-off processes.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, supply chain partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage tender risks, opportunities, and commercial considerations.
  • Lead final submissions, client presentations, interviews, and post-tender clarifications.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in bid management, pre-construction, estimating, or tender coordination within the construction industry.
  • Previous exposure to large-scale construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, or utilities projects.
  • Strong understanding of tendering processes, procurement routes, construction methodologies, and project delivery.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and bid writing skills, with the ability to develop compelling client-facing submissions.
  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (preferred), or a related discipline.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary bid teams and managing tender programmes.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of construction methodologies, planning, and project delivery.

What you'll get in return In return, you will join a market-leading contractor with a strong pipeline of major projects across Dublin and Ireland. You will have the opportunity to work on high-profile construction and infrastructure tenders, collaborating with experienced industry professionals in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. This role offers a salary up to €80,000 + comprehensive benefits package, flexible working arrangements, and ongoing investment in your professional development.

You will gain exposure to some of the industry's most significant projects while benefiting from clear career progression opportunities within a well-established and growing organisation. With a strong commitment to professional development and internal promotion, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious bid professional looking to advance their career within a leading Tier 1 contractor.
