JOB SPECIFICATION

  • Engage with customers in a warm, professional manner – in person and over the phone – offering expert advice and product information.
  • Deliver an exceptional standard of customer service for every sale, no matter the size.
  • Take time to understand customer needs, inspire ideas, and recommend stylish, functional solutions with genuine enthusiasm.
  • Drive sales by promoting the full product range, meeting or exceeding individual targets, and contributing to overall team success.
  • Upsell and cross-sell where appropriate, including promoting own-brand and complementary products.
  • Prepare accurate quotations aligned with customer budgets and company pricing guidelines.
  • up on quotations and customer enquiries in a timely and proactive manner.
  • Monitor orders and deliveries, keeping customers informed and resolving any issues with ownership and care.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the showroom, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Carry out additional duties as reasonably requested by management.

Person SpecificationThe following criteria will be used in the selection process. Only those applicants who meet the essential criteria will be shortlisted for interview. The Company reserves the right to initially shortlist those candidates who meet both essential and desirable criteria.Essential

  • Previous experience in an environment, with direct customer engagement, where top class standards of customer service is required
  • Possess retail sales experience and be passionate about selling
  • Friendly and engaging demeanour
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A high level of organisation skills
  • Proficiency in Computers 

Desirable

  • Previous high end retail sales experience
  • Tile and sanitary ware industry experience
  • Bathroom and Kitchen Design
