The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Business People Partner to provide maternity cover to support our teams in Ireland and contribute to the delivery of Indigo’s Global People Strategy. In this senior-level role, you’ll partner closely with leaders, support colleagues across multiple countries, oversee employee relations, enable performance and talent development, and lead key cross‑business initiatives.
You will also act as the primary point of contact for our Limerick office, ensuring a smooth, supportive and well‑run working environment.
This is a fixed-term role expected to run until 30 July 2027.
What You’ll Be DoingBusiness Partnering & Leadership Support
- Build trusted partnerships with leaders across your business areas.
- Develop people solutions and action plans aligned to organisational goals.
- Understand the day‑to‑day experience of colleagues and bring their perspectives into people strategies and planning.
Employee Relations
- Lead and support a range of ER cases across Ireland and other regions (UK, Europe, US).
- Provide risk‑based, commercial advice and interpret legal guidance for the business.
- Ensure compliance with national and international employment law.
Performance, Talent & Recruitment
- Proactively identify performance issues and support managers to address them.
- Deliver calibration sessions and guide managers on the My Success Plan framework.
- Support recruitment activity and deputise for the Recruitment Manager where required.
- Drive proactive talent management, succession planning and career pathway development.
Learning, Development & Change
- Identify training needs and implement effective learning solutions.
- Support the design and review of operational training pathways.
- Lead the people elements of organisational change within your business units.
- Support leaders with people survey action planning and wider people initiatives.
People Operations, Culture & Engagement
- Oversee People administration including contracts and payroll changes.
- Lead People projects, wellbeing initiatives and DEI activities (including chairing the DEI Committee).
- Coordinate engagement activities and analyse survey insights.
- Support Indigo’s ESG strategy.
- Provide onsite support in our Limerick office, including facilities coordination and general administrative oversight.

We’re looking for:
- Significant experience as a senior People/HR partner in a complex organisation.
- Broad generalist HR expertise with strong qualifications and a track record of delivering meaningful outcomes.
- Excellent employee relations capability, including management of complex multi-country cases.
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment law (UK/European/US exposure desirable).
- Highly developed interpersonal, influencing and diplomacy skills.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.
- Strong experience designing policies, processes and people frameworks.
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.
- High‑quality written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and effectively.
- Coaching, mentoring, facilitation and mediation skills.
Working Environment
This is a hybrid role with Limerick, Ireland as the contracted base location. We expect colleagues to work from the Limerick office 2–3 days per week, with flexibility to work from home in line with business needs and the nature of activities scheduled on any given day.
