THE OPPORTUNITY

As Lilliput Artisan Foods enters a significant scaling phase, we are transitioning from legacy systems to proactive operational intelligence. We are seeking a Finance & Supply Ops Coordinator with the operational muscle to own our financial ecosystem and support a disciplined, high-growth supply chain. You will be the gatekeeper of our financial data, ensuring that as our volumes increase, our margins, stock integrity, and cash flow remain robust.

1. KEY FUNCTION: FINANCIAL & DATA INTEGRITY

You are the guardian of Lilliput’s financial data and margins. You do not wait for direction; you proactively audit the link between our paperwork, our pallets, and our profit. Your role is to provide the financial muscle that ensures our accounts system accurately reflect our physical operations. You serve as the office-based auditor supporting the Operations Director to ensure 100% accuracy in our distribution ecosystem. You will also take full ownership of Unify (ordering system and master product list), ensuring all product data, pricing, and ordering workflows remain accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with financial controls.

2. REVENUE SUPPORTOrder Output Support: Providing essential support to the customer order process during the am peak & throughout the day. Ensure data accuracy and timely transmission of orders to the warehouse floor.

Operational Flow: Assisting with immediate order queries and delivery adjustments as needed to ensure the logistics team of drivers can depart on schedule.

3. SUPPLY CHAIN FINANCE & MARGIN PROTECTIONGoods-In Audit (The Handshake): You are the financial gatekeeper for incoming stock. You reconcile supplier delivery dockets against purchase orders (POs) and ensure that what was physically received matches what is being invoiced in Xero.

Proactive Price Auditing: You audit every supplier invoice against agreed price lists. You are responsible for identifying and flagging price creep or margin erosion immediately before invoices are approved.

Landed Cost & Rebates: Monitor the total cost of goods (including freight and duties). Maintain the Rebate Integrity Log to ensure all earned supplier credits are tracked, claimed, and reconciled.

Intrastat Reporting: Take ownership of monthly Intrastat returns, ensuring accurate and timely submission in line with regulatory requirements.

4. SYSTEMS, PAYMENTS & REPORTINGAccounts software Ownership: Daily management of Accounts Payable, Receivable, and Bank Reconciliations. You will uphold the high data standards established during the current system migration and data cleanse.

Revenue Automation: Lead the migration of the customer base to GoCardless/Direct Debit, ensuring automated payment becomes the standard for all new business.

Director Intelligence: Deliver a Weekly Flash Report (Cash/Creditors/Debtors) and a monthly Management Information (MI) Pack(P&L/Balance Sheet) by the 10th of every month, highlighting specific margin risks or cost anomalies identified.

IDEAL PROFILE

  • Strong experience in finance operations, book-keeping, or supply chain finance
  • High attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Experience with stock systems / ERP tools (Unify or similar advantageous)
  • Familiarity with Intrastat or EU trade reporting requirements preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling SME environment
