About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading specialist construction contractor delivering structural reinforcement packages across a range of large-scale residential and commercial developments throughout Ireland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the coordination, delivery and installation of reinforcement solutions across three concurrent projects. Working closely with clients, main contractors, consulting engineers, site teams and internal departments, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile residential and commercial developments while managing the full project lifecycle from design coordination and planning through to site installation and handover. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships, driving programme performance and ensuring the efficient delivery of specialist structural packages across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the successful delivery of reinforcement packages across three live construction projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact between clients, site management teams and internal departments.
• Coordinate project activities from design review through production, delivery, installation and handover.
• Oversee installation teams across multiple sites, ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently.
• Monitor project programmes and ensure installations align with client construction schedules.
• Attend site meetings, progress meetings and client coordination meetings.
• Work closely with engineering and detailing teams to review drawings and identify potential issues before manufacture and installation.
• Coordinate site logistics, lifting plans, crane requirements and delivery schedules.
• Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, quality requirements and company standards.
• Manage project risks and proactively resolve technical or programme-related issues.
• Monitor project costs, variations and commercial performance in conjunction with the commercial team.
• Prepare regular progress reports for senior management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery processes.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Project Manager, Senior Engineer, Site Manager or Construction Manager role.
• Strong experience delivering residential, commercial, reinforced concrete, structural or civil engineering projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site operations and project delivery.
• Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing project costs, variations and budgets.
• Full clean driving licence.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working with reinforced concrete structures or structural packages.
• Experience working alongside Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractors.
• Exposure to off-site manufacturing, modern methods of construction or specialist subcontractor environments.
• Knowledge of BIM and digital construction processes.
