Compliance Manager

Compliance Manager (Banking)Location:Killarney, Co. KerryPermanent | Full-Time | Onsite Our client is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to take on a senior leadership role within a well-established financial services environment. This is a key position with responsibility for overseeing the organisation's compliance and financial crime framework, while working closely with senior leadership and regulators. This role is expected to be approved for PCF-12 (Head of Compliance) and PCF-52 (Head of AML/CTF), subject to Central Bank of Ireland approval.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall compliance and AML/CTF framework
• Act as the primary point of contact with the Central Bank of Ireland
• Develop, review and maintain policies and procedures across AML, CTF, Consumer Protection and broader regulatory requirements
• Oversee regulatory reporting and ensure timely and accurate submissions
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise senior management on business impact
• Support internal audits, compliance monitoring and remediation activities
• Deliver regular compliance updates and reporting to senior stakeholders and the Board
• Promote a strong culture of governance, risk awareness and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• 5-8+ years' experience in a compliance role within banking or regulated financial services
• Strong knowledge of AML/CTF obligations and regulatory reporting
• Experience dealing with the Central Bank of Ireland or a similar regulator
• Proven experience developing and implementing compliance policies and frameworks
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate at senior level
• Previous PCF experience or readiness to hold a PCF role is a distinct advantage
• Professional compliance qualification (ACOI, ICA, ACAMS or similar) desirable
