Matrix Recruitment is seeking a Financial Controller for a commercial and growing business based in Waterford. This role suits a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys understanding business performance and contributing to strategic decision-making.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the finance function
• Prepare monthly financial and management accounts
• Deliver financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow analysis
• Present financial results and strategic insights to senior stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement in finance processes and systems

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) preferred
• Experience in management accounts and financial reporting
• Experience managing or supervising a finance team (beneficial)
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
• Highly proficient in Excel with strong analytical and forecasting skills
