Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join their technical solutions team. This permanent, on-site role offers the opportunity to drive sales of bespoke technical systems, work closely with engineering teams, and manage customer projects from concept through delivery. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, client engagement, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell specialised technical systems and solutions to new and existing clients.
• Identify client needs, develop tailored solution proposals, and deliver quotations in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Oversee the planning, implementation, and delivery of customer projects.
• Gather and communicate technical requirements, ensuring alignment between clients and internal teams.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for business growth.

Requirements:

• HETAC Level 8 qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Automation, or similar).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical sales or customer-facing engineering roles.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Experience with industrial image processing; knowledge of robotics, MedTech, or mechanical engineering is advantageous.
• Full driver’s licence and own transport; self-driven, resilient, and able to work independently and in a team.
