Scope Of The Role Reporting to our Senior Financial Account (GL) and based in our Head Office in Ballycoolin Dublin, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of 75+ Bank account postings and reconciliations across multiple jurisdictions and currencies . Key Responsibilities Of The Role
- Responsible for the timely completion of month-end bank postings across multiple jurisdictions and currencies, ensuring all transactions are posted prior to month end close .
- Prepare, reconcile, and review all bank accounts, ensuring reconciliations are completed accurately and ready for review on or before a specified date .
- Investigate, analyse, and provide clear explanations for all reconciling items.
- Assist with year end Audit ,ensuring the accuracy of balances reported in the general ledger including the preparation of bank reconciliation schedules, supporting documentation, and evidence requests.
- Assist GL Team in various ad hoc duties as required .
Essential Criteria For The Role
- Minimum of 3 years' experience training / working in an accounting environment (IATI or part qualified)
- Excellent computer skills especially Excel
- Must be driven and capable of working on own initiative as well as working well in a team environment reporting
- Work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines
Desirable Criteria
- Construction / Engineering experience desirable, though not essential
- SAP, PowerBI experience desirable
