Global biopharmaceutical company focused on innovative medicines and rare diseases. The Director, Network Supply Planning leads global tactical supply planning across a complex, regulated supply network over a 0–3 year horizon. The role ensures reliable product supply while balancing service, inventory, capacity, cost, risk, and business priorities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a global network supply planning team.
  • Own end-to-end supply planning across internal manufacturing, external partners, and distribution.
  • Lead the S&OE process, aligning demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and priorities.
  • Manage supply risks, disruptions, scenarios, mitigation plans, and escalations.
  • Establish planning standards, governance, KPIs, and performance management.
  • Drive decisions on constraints, allocation, prioritisation, inventory, and network performance.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Commercial, Technical Operations, and Logistics.
  • Support financial planning, launches, supply continuity, and network resilience.
  • Drive continuous improvement, digitalisation, data-driven decision-making, and process simplification.


Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in biopharma operations, supply chain, supply planning, or network operations.
  • Proven leadership experience in global, matrixed, and regulated environments.
  • Strong end-to-end understanding of manufacturing, external supply, distribution, and market delivery.
  • Experience in supply risk management, continuity planning, network strategy, launches, or lifecycle planning.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and senior stakeholder management.
  • Working knowledge of GMP, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, supply chain, operations, business, or related field required; advanced degree desirable..
