Global Tax Projects Analyst

An industry-leading multinational in Cork is seeking an Indirect Tax Specialist to support the delivery of global tax and finance initiatives.

Working alongside Senior Tax Leadership and cross-functional teams, this role is ideal for a tax or finance professional looking to take ownership of key project workstreams. You will gain direct exposure to regulatory change, system enhancements, and global stakeholder management within a dynamic international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Lead assigned project workstreams, manage deliverables, and ensure milestones are met across global indirect tax initiatives.
• Impact Analysis: Assist in evaluating the impact of global legislative and regulatory indirect tax changes on business processes and ERP systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with regional tax teams and external advisors to gather data, coordinate activities, and streamline processes.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare clear project updates, process documentation, and executive summaries for regional and global stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Develop a deep understanding of business operations to identify efficiency gains across indirect tax touchpoints.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Experience: 2+ years in a tax, finance, or business transformation role.
• Tax Exposure: Working knowledge of indirect taxes (VAT, GST, Sales & Use Tax) is strongly preferred.
• Project Skills: Prior involvement in finance projects, process improvement, or tax technology/system implementations is a distinct advantage.
• Soft Skills: Strong accountability, proactive communication, and an interest in driving international tax projects.
