HR Business Partner / HR AnalystLocation: South Dublin

Contract: 6-month temporary contract (potential to go permanent)

Start Date: ASAP

We are partnering with a leading organisation seeking a HR Business Partner / HR Analyst to join their dynamic HR team. This role offers a unique blend of strategic HR support and data-driven reporting and analysis, ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling through data and driving insight-led HR decisions.

The Role

Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will support the HR function through effective data analysis, reporting, and HR operations. You will play a key role in providing insights to senior leadership, developing dashboards, and ensuring data integrity across multiple systems.

You’ll also act as a business partner for day-to-day HR queries once project work is complete, giving you a broad and rewarding scope across the HR function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and interpret HR data from various platforms, including SmartHR, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Develop insightful dashboards and reports that clearly communicate trends and findings to the wider HR and leadership teams.
  • Translate complex data into meaningful insights to support the HR Director in strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to ongoing HR initiatives such as compensation reviews, absence tracking, and workforce reporting.
  • Act as a point of contact for day-to-day HR queries, providing support across the wider HR function.
  • Work closely with colleagues in the UK and across the broader HR network to maintain accuracy and consistency of data and reporting standards

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills – highly proficient in Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation, etc.).
  • Experience using Power BI and SmartHR (or similar HR systems) is a strong advantage.
  • Background in HR, data analysis, or a combined HR/analytics role.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Tech-savvy and detail-oriented with a great attitude and a proactive mindset.
  • Experience working across multi-site or international teams is beneficial.
