Supply Chain Manager

Morgan McKinley is delighted to be working with a well-established and highly respected organisation in Dublin to recruit an experienced Supply Chain Manager

This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of purchasing, inventory planning and supplier management while leading a team and contributing to wider operational strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure a resilient, efficient and commercially focused supply chain.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead the end-to-end supply chain function, including planning, purchasing, inventory management and supplier performance.
• Develop and implement a supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives and long-term growth plans.
• Own the demand planning and forecasting process, improving forecast accuracy through robust analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
• Optimise inventory performance to improve availability while reducing excess stock and working capital requirements.
• Build strong relationships with strategic suppliers, negotiating effectively while monitoring supplier performance against agreed service, quality and cost metrics.
• Lead KPI reporting across the supply chain, using insights to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
• Support new product introductions, lifecycle planning and supply chain readiness for business initiatives.
• Develop and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience in a Supply Chain leadership role within manufacturing, engineering or distribution.
• A proven track record of improving supply chain performance and operational efficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain planning tools.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
