The role of the Planning and Analysis function in MRPI is to guide and direct the business via robust forecasting and reporting, in addition to providing top‑class business partnering. The Planning & Analysis Senior Analyst plays an integral role in this delivery, supporting the three‑year business planning process and the delivery of the annual budget and quarterly financial forecasts. The role is crucial in supporting informed financial decision‑making and strategy development within MRPI. What you'll be doing:

  • Support the delivery of the 3YP, Annual Budgeting and Forecasting process.
  • Support strategic analysis on key commercial levers within the business.
  • Support decision‑making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed and meaningful insights on business performance.
  • Identify and support improvements in budgeting and forecasting processes, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide analytical and decision support to the Finance Director / Head of Finance – Retail / FP&A Senior Manager as required.
  • Proactively support commercial and cross‑functional projects by adding value through analysis and insight.
  • Communicate clearly and positively with stakeholders to ensure strong understanding of financial performance and drivers.

What we are looking for:

  • Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.).
  • 5+ years’ experience in a senior finance or analytical role.
  • Proven experience managing and influencing stakeholders at a senior level.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills and confidence dealing with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to make decisions at pace, working in a disciplined and agile manner.
  • Strong analytical, numerical and data interpretation skills.
  • Knowledge of the Irish retail industry (distinct advantage).
  • Project and change management capability.
  • Process‑driven and systems‑focused mindset (Anaplan experience an advantage).
  • Flexible, adaptable, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
