Position Summary
NeoDyne are recruiting a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our expanding System Integration team. Our graduate programme is all about learning new and developing your existing skills. Over a two-year period, you will be placed in projects where you get to do meaningful work and contribute to the business.
This Graduate opportunity is offered as a full-time permanent contract, based at our Waterford Office, with an excellent salary and benefits package. What might I be doing?
- Projects could include HV/MV electrical design, power generation, PLC and SCADA automation, control logic programming, control panel hardware design, and site testing & commissioning.
- You will have the opportunity to use state-of-the-art engineering software for control and protection design and substation layouts. You will also get to use leading-edge power system modelling software to run steady state and transient electrical studies, including short circuit studies, protection coordination and grid compliance studies for proposed renewable generation.
- Generating technical documentation and dealing with customers will also be key parts of our graduate programme to help develop your soft skills. You will also have the opportunity to travel to customer sites to get involved in installation, testing, and commissioning.
Our induction programme revolves around a 70-20-10 model for learning and development.

Experience & skills
- Level 8 Degree in Electrical/ Energy Engineering, or equivalent.
- 0-2 years' experience in a similar electrical design role or Work Placement.
- Full Irish driving license and car, OR must be achieved within the first 12 months of employment.
- 0-2 years' experience in a similar manufacturing process improvement role or Work Placement.
