Project Manager – Electrical Infrastructure / Major Equipment Delivery

A fast‑growing specialist contractor delivering transformers, MV/LV switchgear and major electrical equipment to data‑centre and industrial clients is seeking a Project Manager to take ownership of projects across Ireland, Spain and Portugal.
This is a role for someone who wants autonomy, responsibility and progression. You’ll be the on‑the‑ground lead in Dublin, managing specialist subcontractors and driving programme, cost and commercial performance — supported by a strong back‑office engineering team.
What You’ll Lead
- Project delivery from order → logistics → installation → commissioning → close‑out
- Subcontractor management across electrical install, cranage, rigging and civils
- Commercial control — budgets, variations, invoicing, cost‑to‑complete
- Programme tracking, risk identification and customer reporting
- Delivery and installation of transformers, switchgear and associated equipment
- Coordination with OEMs, logistics partners and main contractors
What You Bring
- Project management experience in construction, MEP, industrial, infrastructure or data‑centre projects
- Strong subcontractor and multi‑package coordination
- Solid commercial discipline — variations, invoicing, subcontractor applications
- Background in mechanical, civil or electrical PM (no trades background required)
- Experience with switchgear or transformers is a strong advantage
- Independent, organised, comfortable being “your own boss”
- Based in Dublin with ability to travel across Europe when required
