Role Overview
The Resident Experience Associate is a front-line resident-facing role focused on delivering a warm, responsive and community-driven experience across assigned schemes. The role plays an important part in ensuring residents feel welcome, supported and connected throughout their day-to-day living experience with Occu.
This role is centred on resident interaction, front desk presence, community engagement and day-to-day support. The Associate helps deliver a positive, professional and consistent service while ensuring issues are identified early and escalated appropriately.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Resident Service & Front Desk Operations
- Provide a warm, professional and responsive front-line service to residents, visitors and internal stakeholders.
- Manage front desk activity, walk-ins, calls, emails and resident queries in line with expected service standards.
- Receive and manage resident deliveries and support concierge-style services in line with site procedures.
- Act as a helpful on-site presence, maintaining presentation standards and supporting a welcoming resident environment.
Resident Engagement & Community Presence
- Support the delivery of resident events, engagement initiatives and community activities on site.
- Build positive day-to-day relationships with residents and identify concerns early, escalating where appropriate.
- Support resident communications and help ensure information shared is accurate, timely and resident-friendly.
- Represent Occu positively in every interaction and contribute to a strong sense of community, belonging and service consistency.
Qualifications & Experience
The Resident Experience Associate should demonstrate:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing, hospitality, resident services or similar service-led role.
- Excellent written and spoken English with strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly across shift patterns, including rotational weekend work.
- A strong service mindset, with the ability to build rapport and engage positively with residents every day.
- Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm, professional and helpful under pressure.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
