About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organised Operations Manager experience in the construction Industry to oversee the day-to-day running of operations which involves managing multiple crews on a daily basis conducting window and door installation across a large variety of projects. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of staff, ensuring high performance and a positive working environment
• Plan, coordinate, and schedule works to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time
• Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring materials are available when needed
• Liaise directly with customers, handling queries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships
• Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions
• Ensure all work is carried out to company standards and health & safety regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience in an operations or management role (industry experience an advantage)
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proven ability to manage teams and motivate staff
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Knowledge of Windows & Doors and the installation and/or extensive carpentry/joinery experience
