We are partnering with a leading tier main contractor to hire an experienced Site Manager for a major new commercial development in Clonmel. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly respected contractor and play a key role in delivering a landmark project from the ground up.

About the Project
You will be joining a significant new commercial development, a multi-storey, high-spec building forming part of a broader urban regeneration initiative. This long-term project represents a major investment in the region and offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of a high-profile, modern facility with complex structural, architectural, and services requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring efficient daily operations
- Maintain accurate site records, manage labour resources, and monitor progress against programme
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Enforce Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems across the site
- Proactively identify risks, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement
- Manage materials requisitions, logistics, and delivery scheduling
- Chair and participate in regular site meetings to ensure clear communication with all stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Site Management role with a main contractor
- Qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related trade background
- Proven track record delivering projects from early stages through to handover
- Strong leadership capabilities, able to motivate teams and manage subcontractors effectively
- Excellent communication, planning, and decision-making skills
- High level of technical and regulatory knowledge within the construction industry
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
