Senior Project Manager

I am seeking a Senior Project Manager on behalf of one of Ireland’s most reputable Main Contractors. The successful candidate will be based on a large prestigious construction project and alongside the Contracts Manager will be responsible for the overall running of the job. Your main duties will include, but not be limited to;

• Project Management, in compliance with company policies, procedures and Building Regulations
• Chair Co-ordinate Site Meetings with the Design Team & Subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations and good building practice
• Monitor construction, with regard to quality of workmanship and materials
• Providing advice on the management of the project
• Making sure that all the aims of the project are met along with quality standards
• Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
• Agreeing programme and delivering the project in accordance with same
• Delivering the project with the highest quality and within budget
• Working with the Health & Safety Department to ensure safety standards are met and exceeded at all times

To be successful in your application you will possess the following;

• Ideally degree qualified with a Minimum of 7 years +’ experience as a Project Manager with Main Contractor in Ireland or the UK
• Excellent negotiation/communication skills, confidence in making decisions, and strong commercial awareness
• IT Skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Planning Software - Microsoft Project, Asta or the like would be an advantage
