For more information check out www.pwc.ie/tax. PwC has established a Corporate Tax Compliance Centre in its Kilkenny office and now wishes to recruit an Administrator to assist the expanding team. What does this role offer? As the Administrator you will support the Head of Operations and the team with service delivery for the ongoing operation and coordination of the Corporate Tax Compliance Centre (CTC). You will assist in the day to day running of the CTC and support with relationship management and process excellence services. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the management team with resource planning and allocation of work to the team and responsibility for monitoring delivery of work on schedule and updating management team with any issues/ delays
- Coordinating with teams on work delays, information gaps, new work requests etc
- Helping to implement and coordinate an efficient, cost effective model based on optimal resource scheduling and process efficiency that exploits current technologies to maximum potential.
- Managing data entry / reports and workflow systems to support KPI reporting
- Helping to leverage data and analytics to proactively identify and reduce business and compliance risk and cost.
- Embrace the digital evolution in our business to drive process excellence through continuous improvement, leveraging latest tools/digital automation.
- Operate effectively with the CTC team members to create a collaborative working environment.
- Have an active role in training new staff members on CTC systems.
- Assist the team with preparation of client fees
- Assist with pricing tenders for new work proposals
- Assist with preparation of presentations for briefings / meetings
- Assist management team with bookings / expenses etc
About you – Key skills and competencies:
- Generalist PA / administrator experience - at least 5+ years experience
- An ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines with limited supervision
- Manage a varied workload without compromising quality
- Passionate about process excellence and has experience in digital transformation.
- Experience in performance reporting and analytical skills.
- Willing to develop an understanding of Corporate Tax compliance business
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good attention to detail to ensure that all documentation is accurate
- Friendly and approachable manner, able to build and sustain relationships based on trust at all levels
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to communicate confidently and comfortably
- Strong customer focus and drive to deliver
- Focus on continuous improvements - ability to identify, share and escalate.
- An understanding of the workings of a tax department would be advantageous in this role, however it is not essential.
