Are you an experienced private markets fund accounting professional ready to take on a senior leadership role?
A leading global financial services organisation is continuing to expand its Private Markets operations in Cork and is seeking Vice Presidents to join a growing team supporting Private Equity, Infrastructure, Real Estate and other closed-ended fund structures.
This opportunity may suit candidates already operating at VP, Senior Manager or equivalent level within private equity or alternative fund accounting.

What you will be doing
You will play a senior role in the oversight, delivery and development of accounting and financial reporting services for private market funds, working closely with internal teams, clients, external auditors and senior stakeholders.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Leading the delivery and oversight of NAV production for closed-ended fund structures
- Managing the review of capital call, distribution and investor allocation processes
- Oversight of waterfall calculations and carried interest allocations
- Reviewing and overseeing financial statements for private equity and related fund structures
- Acting as a senior point of contact for clients, auditors and internal stakeholders
- Managing, supporting and developing fund accounting teams
- Ensuring strong delivery standards, risk controls and operational discipline across the team
- Contributing to process improvements, automation initiatives and broader operating model enhancements
- Supporting senior leadership with client service, team planning and strategic initiatives
Who this role is ideal for
We are interested in speaking with senior professionals who have gained meaningful exposure to private markets through either fund accounting, fund administration or audit.
Typical profiles may include:
- Vice Presidents, Senior Managers or experienced AVPs within private equity, real estate, infrastructure or alternative fund accounting
- Senior fund accounting professionals already managing teams, client relationships and complex closed-ended fund structures
- Candidates who have worked closely with private equity, infrastructure, real estate or other closed-ended fund vehicles
Relevant experience may include exposure to:
- Oversight of NAV delivery for closed-ended fund structures
- Capital calls, investor allocations and distribution processes
- Waterfall or carried interest models
- Investment valuations
- Financial statement review for private market vehicles
- Client, auditor and investor reporting deliverables
- Team leadership, people management and senior stakeholder engagement
Qualified accountants are typically well suited to these roles, particularly those with strong technical accounting, review and leadership experience within private markets.
