Planner - Pharma

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Planner to join the Technical Operations team.

This is a highly visible role responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, compliance, and readiness across manufacturing and warehouse operations. You will play a key part in supporting production by ensuring raw materials and components are available, controlled, and aligned with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage physical inventory and cycle counts across warehouse, manufacturing, and 3PL locations

• Investigate discrepancies, analyse trends, and report findings to key stakeholders

• Ensure raw materials are maintained in the correct stock status within SAP

• Support removal and control of expired or obsolete inventory

• Contribute to inventory cost-saving initiatives (scrap reduction, excess stock, expiry management)

• Review and update SOPs to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness

• Ensure adherence to SOX, cGMP, and regulatory requirements

• Support replenishment planning and stock optimisation strategies

Skills & Experience

• Experience in inventory, supply chain, or materials management (ideally within pharma/biotech)

• Strong understanding of inventory control processes and systems (SAP experience desirable)

• Knowledge of cGMP and regulated environments

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance

• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present data and insights clearly
