Construction Contracts Manager

We are presently recruiting for a Contracts Manager for our Kerry based clients. You will oversee resurfacing projects in Kerry, Cork and Limerick, managing site teams, resources, safety, schedules, and budgets. You will coordinate with project staff, subcontractors, and stakeholders, ensure work meets quality standards, resolve technical issues, support tendering, and deliver projects efficiently from planning through completion. This is a permanent, full-time position with office support from County Kerry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full project delivery while maintaining high safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Manage labour, materials, equipment, and overall site resources
• Work closely with Quantity Surveyors, Site Supervisors, Engineers, Health & Safety teams, Foremen, Traffic Management, and site crews.
• Support tendering activities including scope reviews, site visits, assessments, programming, and documentation.
• Lead regular progress, safety, and internal meetings.
• Ensure all works comply with project plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure alignment with project programmes.
• Oversee budgets and contract administration with the QS team.
• Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
• Enforce health and safety procedures in coordination with the H&S Manager.
• Adjust programmes where required and maintain communication with key stakeholders.
• Implement best practice in project controls, performance management, and reporting.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is essential.
• 7+ years’ experience in road construction or resurfacing projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and technical skills, proficient in project management software and able to interpret drawings.
