Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mechanical Fitter, based in Midleton, with the option for some work-from-home flexibility. The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and maintaining machinery and equipment as per specifications. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, and ensuring machinery operates efficiently and safely. Daily tasks also include collaborating with team members to improve equipment performance and maintaining detailed maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Fitting and Machinery operation
• Hands-on experience with Machining and Maintenance
• Proficiency in Preventive Maintenance techniques
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience in mechanical fitting
