We’re partnering with a well-established and growing food production business in Wexford that is passionate about delivering high-quality products to customers every single day. They are now looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to join their team and play a key role in maintaining exceptional food safety and quality standards across the site.

What we offer:

• Location: Wexford
• Salary: €40,000 DOE
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday

What you’ll be doing:

• Be the eyes and ears of quality on the production floor, ensuring products consistently meet required standards
• Carry out routine inspections and checks throughout the manufacturing process
• Conduct GMP and hygiene audits to maintain a clean, compliant environment
• Accurately record quality and production data using internal systems
• Perform temperature checks and support equipment calibration processes
• Collect product samples for testing and maintain clear, detailed records
• Work closely with production teams to drive a strong food safety culture
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across quality and compliance

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a quality or food safety role, ideally within food manufacturing
• A strong eye for detail and a methodical approach to your work
• Confident communicator who works well as part of a team
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving production environment
• Good IT skills, with experience using systems such as Excel
• Solid understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
• A proactive mindset with a practical, solutions-focused approach
