Position Summary As part of a high‑performing international Revenue Accounting team, the Revenue Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP (ASC 606). This role partners closely with Sales, Services, Legal, and Finance stakeholders to support forecasting, close activities, audit readiness, and ongoing process and system improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Review customer contracts and revenue arrangements to ensure revenue is recognised in accordance with US GAAP (ASC 606).
- Manage a portfolio of customers, partnering with Sales and Services teams to review quarterly forecasts and revenue expectations.
- Perform quarter‑end close activities, including preparation and documentation of revenue entries in compliance with SOX requirements.
- Prepare and analyse revenue‑related balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reconciliation.
- Review customer legal contracts to identify and assess revenue‑impacting terms and conditions.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and organisation of audit documentation to support internal and external audits.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Legal, and Operations.
- Deliver efficient, accurate, and timely revenue reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency, including supporting system enhancements and automation initiatives.
- Assist with ad‑hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required.

EssentialRequired Experience & Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting, audit, or financial management.
- Experience with Oracle or other fully integrated ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, multinational or regulated environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive, self‑directed approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Desirable
- Strong hands‑on experience with revenue recognition under ASC 606.
- Big 4 and/or multinational experience.
- Experience with RevPro or similar revenue recognition accounting software.
- Prior experience in the telecoms or technology industry.
- Knowledge of Power BI
