Accounts Assistant

SummaryThe Accounts Assistant, reporting to the Financial Controller, will use strong communication and numerical skills to ensure accurate, timely preparation of accounts.The Role The Financial Account Assistant plays a crucial supporting role within the finance department, assisting with day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong numerical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality. This is a 3 month fixed term position with potential to go permanent for the right candidate Your Key Responsibilities

• Timely delivery of reports including the collection, preparation and maintenance and dissemination of all data
• Analysis of a variety of data including analysis of traceability reports on ERP system.
• Review accuracy of costings on ERP system
• Monitoring of stock usages on ERP system
• Investigating & solve issues as they arise on ERP system.
• Statistical work based in Excel including generating production Key Performance Indicators, production statistics, and trend analysis
• Presentation and review of data using charts, graphs and other tools
• Timely delivery of reports including the collection, preparation and maintenance and dissemination of all data
• Actively support Continuous Improvement initiatives within the company
• The role will involve liaising with staff in various departments.

The Ideal Candidate

• Degree qualification in business or computers is desired
• Excellent numerical and mathematical skills
• Excellent IT skills, a high level of Excel is essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy with numbers
• Experience of ERP and Lean Systems will be an advantage
• Fluency of English both written and verbal
• Proven experience in a Finance or similar role is desired
