🚧 Utilities Technician - (Immediately Available) | North Dublin | Manufacturing 🚧

A leading manufacturing operation in the North Dublin area is seeking an experienced Utilities Technician to join the team on a rolling contract basis. If you enjoy hands‑on technical work, troubleshooting, and keeping critical systems running at their best, this could be a fantastic opportunity.

🔧 The Role

We are currently seeking a Utilities Technician available to start at short notice to support a high‑performing manufacturing operation in the North Dublin area.

As a key member of the utilities & engineering team, you’ll support the safe and reliable operation of essential site systems, including:

  • HVAC
  • Steam
  • Water
  • Gases & compressed air
  • Fire protection
  • Waste systems

You’ll monitor, operate, and perform first‑line maintenance on these utilities to keep the site running efficiently and in line with regulatory standards.

📌 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Responding to utilities alarms and troubleshooting faults
  • Performing routine inspections, rounds, and readings
  • Carrying out preventative & corrective maintenance
  • Supporting planned engineering activities with internal teams & contractors
  • Following safety processes (permit-to-work, LOTO, etc.)
  • Helping drive reliability and continuous improvement on site

🎓 What We’re Looking For

  • Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Marine Engineering
  • Solid understanding of utilities systems (HVAC, water, steam, gases, fire systems)
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, regulated, or marine environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team
