Senior Business Analyst - Banking - Daily Rates - Hybrid-Working Model (3 Days' On-Site)

This role is for a Senior Business Analyst with experience in global banking and investment markets, including a solid understanding of the products involved.

Candidates should also have a strong grasp of financial accounting principles and standard financial reporting.

In addition, the candidate should have experience across the full project lifecycle, including delivery and execution, and be willing to take a hands-on approach to solving problems as they arise.

The successful candidate will help drive initiatives for a key financial reporting and control application, support other Business Analysts within both the immediate and wider team, and assist with occasional complex support issues escalated to the development team from front-line support.

Required:

Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Good relational database/SQL experience.

Excellent data analysis skills and experience working with complex data sets

Preferred:

Experience in / Exposure to one or more of

Data governance

Data lineage

Data controls

BCBS 239 Risk Data Aggregation

Experience with work management and collaborative tools such as JIRA and Confluence

Experience with Mongo DB and/or Python

Experience working in an Agile development environment
