Our client, a well-established mortgage brokerage based in Tipperary, is seeking a Mortgage Specialist to join their growing team. This role is focused on the completions stage of the mortgage lifecycle, ensuring mortgage applications progress smoothly from loan offer through to drawdown.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage mortgage applications through the completion and drawdown stages
• Monitor mortgage cases and proactively follow up on outstanding documentation
• Review loan offers and ensure all conditions are met prior to drawdown
• Coordinate with solicitors to facilitate smooth and timely completions
• Maintain accurate records and update internal CRM systems
• Provide regular updates to clients throughout the mortgage completion process
• Support advisers and the wider team in delivering a high standard of customer service

Key Skills Required

• Previous experience within mortgage administration, mortgage processing, or mortgage completions
• Strong understanding of the mortgage lifecycle and lending process
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume pipeline
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Experience using mortgage CRM systems is advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise workload effectively

Desirable Qualifications

• APA (Loans) or working towards APA/QFA qualifications
• Relevant financial services or business-related qualification
• Experience working within a mortgage brokerage, lender, or financial services environment
• Knowledge of Irish mortgage lending regulations and compliance requirements
