Head Receptionist

• To work together with the Rooms Division Manager and Front Office Supervisor to ensure the smooth running and efficient running of the Reception desk ensuring guests requests are met at all times and revenue is maximised.
• Coordinate solutions quickly when guests experience problems in their room by working with housekeeping and/or service staff.
• Communicate with other hotel staff, such as housekeeping or maintenance, when rooms are ready to be cleaned or repaired in preparation for a new guest
• To work closely with the Rooms Division Manager and Front Office Supervisor to ensure a consistency of communication is maintained.
• To ensure all standard operational procedures are followed by all staff on duty.
• To assist with staff training
• Handle and resolve customer complaints, following through to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction

The successful candidate will have:

• Be familiar with Hot Soft system.
• 2 years' Hotel Reception Experience in 4/5 star hotel environment .
• Ability to work on their own initiative, as well as being capable of working as part of a team
• Friendly and professional work attitude.
• Good attention detail
• Fluent English essential - written and spoken.
• Must be available to work variable shifts.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
