We have an exciting vacancy for a Training Coordinator to work as part of Tirlán Agribusiness. The Training Co-Ordinator will assume responsibility for coordinating and carrying out the training requirements across our 52 Branches and farmer facing teams to ensure that all stakeholders receive the relevant training and reach the required level of competency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitation and Completion of a Training Gap Analysis for our Agri Branch network & our farmer facing teams.
  • Working with the operations, H&S and HR team to develop a detailed training plan that ensures all stakeholders achieve the required level of training and we are compliant with relevant legislation.
  • Develop and implement a systematic process for Training of all relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain training records on the relevant systems (Dulann)
  • Coordinate and carry out legally required training such as Manual handling, Fire Safety, First Aid, Forklift training, Telehandler & Loader training, Animal Remedies Training, Pesticides Training, Realex Payments, GDPR, Knife Training, etc.
  • Support our Customer Service program and train new staff and existing staff to be the customer’s champion.
  • Work alongside the HR Officer to develop a robust induction program for our Branch network and farmer facing teams.
  • Carry out inductions for new starters
  • Define and report on relevant metrics for training completion and effectiveness on a Monthly basis.
  • Work with Health & Safety to develop training material to improve our employee’s competence around good saves, accident prevention & good H&S practices.

Key requirements

  • Third level qualification in Human Resources, Health and Safety or Training discipline or the equivalent.
  • 1 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Knowledge of training methodologies.
  • Experience in Learning Management Systems
  • High proficiency in MS Office - particularly in MS Excel
  • Outstanding multi-tasking and organisational skills.
  • Teamwork and prioritisation skills essential.
  • Ability to work effectively and flexibly in a fast-paced environment
