About the Role:

The role is an operational analyst position within the Risk, Compliance and Assurance team. The role holder will assist the Head of Risk, Compliance and Assurance Manager to ensure that the department delivers and runs appropriate revenue assurance, cost assurance and support fraud prevention in line with the department objectives.

Specific Duties & Tasks:

  • Build and execute Revenue Assurance controls over our TV, Broadband and Mobile services.
  • Review existing controls to ensure maximum coverage over new technologies.
  • Work with IT/BI to access required data.
  • Maximise the use of existing tools.
  • Act as the lead point of contact for projects impacting Revenue Assurance
  • Produce monitoring reports in the required format and to the required standard.
  • Develop a SME understanding of the end-to-end business.
  • Assist the Head of Risk, Compliance & Assurance in performing UAT testing and rule reviews.
  • Assist in compliance testing and quarterly certification
  • Implement cost assurance functions in advance of onboarding of new partners
  • Assure Virgin Media Ireland revenue and costs through existing systems, development of new systems and within ad hoc requests/projects
  • Provide cover support for the fraud team when required.
  • Deliver monthly savings reporting to the Head of Risk, Compliance and Assurance

Skills & Expertise:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a Revenue Assurance team.
  • Proven data analytics skills.
  • Excellent organisational and report writing skills.
  • Have a detailed technical knowledge of Broadband, Fixed / IP Telephony and Mobile networks.
  • Experiencing in interpreting and working with various CRM, Billing and Revenue Assurance applications.
  • SQL certification (preferred)

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness regarding the impact of Revenue Assurance on the business.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
