European Finance Manager

On behalf of an industry client experiencing international growth, we are looking to hire a European Finance Manager.

This role is ideally suited to a practice-trained accountant currently operating at Senior Accountant or Finance Manager level who is ready to take the next step in their career.

You will work closely with leadership to support European entities, providing financial oversight, operational insight and performance analysis as the business continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the key finance business partner to European leadership, supporting strategic decision-making, market expansion, and commercial performance
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling across multiple European entities, providing clear insight on growth and profitability
• Oversee all financial reporting and close processes, ensuring accuracy, strong controls, and compliance with local GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Manage tax, VAT, audit, and statutory obligations across jurisdictions, working closely with external advisors and maintaining robust governance frameworks

Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA)
• Practice trained (Big 4 or Top 10 preferred) with 2 years post qualified experience
• Exposure to commercial finance and business partnering, with the ability to support and challenge non-finance stakeholders
• Comfortable working across multiple entities and jurisdictions
• Ambitious, proactive and keen to grow with an expanding European group
