About the Opportunity:
This is an exceptional career accelerator for an ambitious finance professional to join a prominent business property at Dublin Airport Central following its major rebranding in January 2026.
This role offers the perfect balance of team leadership, robust financial control, and high-level strategy. Working closely with both the Financial Controller and the General Manager, this position is a direct stepping-stone, designed to fast-track your progression into a full Financial Controller seat.
Our client is explicitly looking for high potential—someone who possesses the raw drive and hunger to develop, learn, and fast-track their career
The Role:
- Team Leadership: Take full responsibility for running the finance office, leading and mentoring a medium-sized team of 3 Accounts Assistants.
- Commercial & Operational Focus: Partner with non-finance Heads of Departments to explain KPIs, review costs, analyze margins, and implement processes to drive business savings.
- Month-End & Balance Sheet Ownership: Take a prominent, leading role in the month-end process. You will prepare lead schedules, process journals, manage creditors/debtors, and complete the electronic balance sheet reconciliation workbook.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Own the preparation and review of weekly revenue, payroll, and year-end forecasts. Assist the Financial Controller with annual budget preparation to ensure it reflects business strategy.
- Controls, Compliance & Audit: Ensure all financial controls are robust and sustainable. Champion the use of new technology to drive efficiency, manage income audits, and co-ordinate the year-end and interim external audit processes.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualifications:ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Finalist or Newly Qualified Accountant. * Experience: Essential experience managing or supervising a small finance team. Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-volume commercial or hospitality finance function is highly advantageous.
- Skills: Strong technical knowledge of AP, AR, payroll, and Income Audit processes. Intermediate Excel skills and a tech-savvy approach to optimizing systems are preferred.
- Mindset: A commercially savvy professional who is approachable, an excellent relationship-builder, and ready to actively look for ways to mitigate risk and capture business opportunities.
Why Apply? If you want to step away from a purely back-office role and become a true commercial partner to a leadership team while managing your own department, this role provides the platform, the autonomy, and the clear progression path to get you to the next level.
To Apply: Please submit your CV today for immediate consideration. Initial MS Teams screenings will take place over the next 10 days.
