Global Biotechnology Organisation | Supply Chain

An opportunity has arisen to join a global biotechnology organisation committed to advancing the future of human health through bold science and innovative therapies.

Behind every breakthrough medicine is a complex, highly regulated supply chain ensuring that critical treatments reach patients safely and on time. This role plays a central part in that mission.

As Global Logistics Manager, you will manage the international movement of clinical and commercial drug materials - from manufacturing through to final delivery - across a global network of partners.

This is a high-accountability position requiring strong operational oversight, regulatory awareness, and the ability to operate confidently within a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. You will take ownership of day-to-day global logistics planning and execution, ensuring compliant and efficient product movement across multiple international locations.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Managing end-to-end logistics activities from order placement to delivery
  • Coordinating temperature-controlled shipments across manufacturing, packaging and distribution partners
  • Ensuring compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP), cold chain standards and global trade regulations
  • Partnering with Trade Compliance teams to maintain accurate customs documentation
  • Executing transactions within SAP to support inventory and financial recognition
  • Managing QMS records including deviations and change controls
  • Developing and implementing best practices, SOPs and risk assessments
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations
  • Building strong cross-functional relationships across Supply Chain, Quality, Finance and External Operations

ABOUT THE PERSON:

You understand that logistics within biotech is more than movement - it’s about precision, compliance and patient impact.

You will bring:

  • A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in logistics or supply chain within a regulated industry
  • Strong knowledge of cold chain, global transportation and export/import compliance
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • The ability to influence across functions without direct authority
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong accountability
