Byrne-Mech Ltd is looking for a motivated and conscientious Accounts Assistant to join our growing team in Athenry.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some accounts experience who is looking to develop a long-term career in accounting working alongside an experienced and supportive accounts team.
Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone eager to learn and develop their skills and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of our accounts team, your responsibilities will include:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Sage Payroll
- Nominal Ledger processing
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing invoices and supplier statements
- Credit control
- General accounts administration
Experience/Skills
The ideal person will have:
- Some accounts experience
- Good numerical and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience using Sage (not essential)
- Experience with ERP (not essential)
- Previous office administration experience
