Due to exciting and continued growth, our Accounting and Financial Advisory Department are looking for a qualified Accounting Technician to join their team in the Cork office. The role is hybrid (2 days in the office), full-time permanent, with a 37.5-hour work week.
Our Accounting and Financial Advisory department is built around process, technology and sector expertise. From managing entire finance functions or elements of it to designing and implementing new financial processes or cloud based solutions, we create tailored solutions for clients to streamline processes and deliver efficiencies. It is the ideal place for professionals looking for challenging but fulfilling opportunities.
You can expect your duties will include but not limited to:
- Bookkeeping and management reporting
- Assisting with statutory VAT reporting and compliance
- Providing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) support across a varied portfolio of clients
- Collaborating with colleagues to deliver efficient, high-quality services to clients
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Accounting Technician with practice or industry experience
- Experience in preparing and filing Irish VAT returns
- Working knowledge of Xero is desirable but not essential
- Can do attitude, ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
